Lots of tiny paper miniatures!

Here we go into 2016, wishing a happy year for all the visitors of this blog!

I picked up a number of miniature games during the holidays and I intend to post some battle reports and reviews soon. For now, here are some pictures of the miniatures I built to play Alien Squad Leader (at a reduced scale), Five Core Company Command and possibly other games.
Two full companies with three platoons each and a swarm of alien slashers.

Each squad base is 1" square. The infantry miniatures are from Armor Grid, printed at 40% scale (standing about 6mm tall) and the alien swarms are from the Cardboard Warriors Forum Hoard #8, printed at 20% scale.
"KEEP FIRING!"
To play Five Core Company Command, I also made some simple tokens to represent specialists attached to squads.
The various specialist tokens attached to rifle squads.
To be honest, at such a tiny scale I could have gone and printed everything in full color at a print shop, but I was also curious at what kind of results I could get by using my laser printer and colored paper sheets. The results may not be the most visually impressive, but I find it easy to understand what is going on.

This is all for now, and after the hours dedicated to building this set, expect some reports soon.
